Yesterday I was just really tired and didn't wanna spend time to blog..So today I'm combining days four and five.
I learned:
#1. That laying on the couch five days in a row is yes, believe it or not, tiring. I am tired of doing the same thing everyday.
#2. That the doctor reeeally wasn't joking when he said it would be about ten days. Because six days in, there's not a whole lot of difference between day one and yesterday..or today for that matter.
#3. Finally managed to get more than 50 calories in me yesterday. My stomach didn't even know what was going on.
#4. I learned that I do indeed have self control in this little body of mine. Because once or twice on Saturday while sitting at a table in the den doing a puzzle with my mom, I reeeeally wanted to yell, or let's face it, whisper...(because I had absolutely no voice) "Holy shit. My throat is on fire!" and then just leave it at that and continue with my puzzle...but nope. I kept it inside. (hi mom and dad, I just cussed, on my blog....)
#5. I also learned that it is in fact possible to watch something on our t.v. with the volume at ten.
#6. I discovered who I would like to go to the Super Bowl. I've wanted it to be the Niners all season, but now I want it to be the Niners and the Ravens. Because the coaches for those teams are brothers and that would probably be a really cool family experience for them.
#7. I learned that chicken broth has five calories per cup or something crazy like that. What?? For the past few days that was my lunch and dinner and I thought I was getting around fifty or so calories in each mug, but nay. More like ten.
#8. I learned that when my alarm is going off at four in the morning I may or may not be really confused and forget how to unlock my phone to get the alarm off.
#9. Laying in the den with a fire in the fire place all day is really nice, inspite of being in pain. There is something super cozy and comforting about being warm inside while it's freezing outside. =)
#10. I finally figured out why my tongue hurts so badly on the right side...It's burnt. Collateral damage in the removal of my tonsils apparently. I guess it is a common mistake...But seriously, it's just annoying that it adds extra discomfort.
#11. And I realized that I'm really just ready to feel better. Like yesterday. So maybe tomorrow things will start to improve. Who knows? =)
